Your Own TOS???
« on: March 04, 2008, 09:20:49 AM »
Hi, Anita here. Where does one add your own rules or TOS for your Forum?

You see I will be operating an online disabilities forum and I think it would have to be pretty much "Under Tight Scrutiny"

Thanks

What he means is post in each catagory a message called "Terms of service" and mark it as a sticky post by clicking the thumb tack icon, this will keep the post at the very top of each catagory

But can we as having our own "Forums" make our TOS as we see fit? Without any discriminations of course

Hi Anita, I just tried a custom terms of service which you can see if you visit my forum and click on the register button but ... its not a simple task !

http://tiago.wsnw.net/forums

The text I have used is copied from the original boardnation tos but it can be altered to say anything you wish
