Boardnation is on the move - ! Please read.

I am happy to announce that Boardnation will be upgrading - not only to newer, faster hardware, but also to a new hosting facility!

This move is designed to improve our cash flow during this trying economy, and also our service levels.

The downside here is that BN will be down for 8 to 12 hours.  This includes everything - not only your message board, but also this support forum and the BN website.

If the stars align, this will all happen Feb. 28th (next Saturday).  I will be posting again here to confirm the date/time as things come together, but I wanted to post this "heads up" advanced warning for everyone

I really need my board up by around 2pm Central on that next day (sunday, March 1). As users tune in live to an event. (race)

Guys/gals,

You likely noticed that there was no outage this past week-end.  Well our plan did not come together.  We have been working feverishly to make the move happen, and it will happen - just not as soon as we had hoped.

There is a chance it will happen this coming week-end, which would be the evening of March 7th, at 6:00pm Pacific Time.  At this point it is not confirmed, because there are still some unknowns.

We will post back here by Thursday to confirm that this will (or will not) be happening this week-end, so you will have some time to warn your community members.
